Yad L’Achim boast of stopping Jews for Jesus at the time of activist’s arrest

yad in the negevYou may have seen in the news about a British Jews for Jesus volunteer arrested in Israel on possible charges of visa violation.

He is being held in a jail in the Negev desert.   You could say the Jews for Jesus is the Yad L’Achim’s biggest enemy, so what was Yad L’Achim doing in the desert at this time?   I’ll refer you to their Facebook group here:-

yad with their big signAs you can see they are competing with J4J for signage from the side of a busy road!!

We hope Barry will be freed as soon as possible, but we see followers of Yeshua get persecuted in Israel just like believers in Islamic, Hindu and Buddhist countries, but the circumstances of this arrest we are sure will bring attention to the Messiah of Israel.
Matthew 5 : 9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.  10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.

“Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you”

Ironic that Yad L’Achim’s ads which are everywhere at the moment, chose to pop up when Christians in Muslim countries are getting some shtick.

Yad L’Achim call themselves “Torah activists”  but never quote any scripture in any of the PR stuff.

Here’s some word of Jesus who predicted this:-

Matthew 5 : 43“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Why Jews don’t believe what the ‘Jews for Judaism’ group says

This is an excellent blog which counters counter-missionaries that twist the important parts of Isaiah and defends the role of Yeshua (Jesus) as the Jewish Messiah.

They take on arguments from Jews for Judaism and Tovia Singer, recommended stuff.

yad lads in tel aviv

Its Binyamin Klugger and Meir Cohen up to their usual stalking tricks.

Here below from their Russian language Facebook group, they claim most of the people in the Messianic congregation are youth, and therefore send out invites to 1,200 supporters of Yad L’Achim, 100 turn up to help also mostly young people.

This sign post is a good idea, it should be labeled as following:-

< Follow a New York 770 Rabbi Messiah in $100k camper vans, cause riots and arson, delinquency under a religious facade, put up posters in public of people’s faces and names, stalk people, etc.

< Do whatever.

> Follow G-d and true Torah, follow the Messiah of Israel, forgiveness, goodness, gentleness and self control, serve Israel army and be peaceful, be a good example to others.

I pray and hope young Jews who take an interest with Yad L’Achim follow the right path.

Book from ex-CIA agent studies persecution on believers in Jesus

Former CIA staffer Herbert Schlossberg has a book from back in 1991 called Fragrance of Oppression which studies Persecution of Christians around the world.

On page you can read his study of Yad L’achim’s attacks on Messianic Jews in the Galilee, you can read online, pages 55 and 56;

fragrance of oppression

Israel is the only democratic country in the middle east therefore believers in Jesus get a better deal than neighboring nations, where today Christians are often killed or put in prison in Syria, Egypt, Yemen, Iran, and Nigeria.

Troubles in Israel are tiny by comparison, but as lovers of this country we feel called to pray and share for believers here, fulfillment in Israel’s people being brought back, as well salvation of Jewish and Arab people, and encourage fellow believers to join in prayer also.

Mark 13 : 5 Jesus said to them: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 6 Many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and will deceive many. 7 When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 8 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.
9 “You must be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues. On account of me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them. 10 And the gospel must first be preached to all nations. 11 Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
12 “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. 13 Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

Difficult times ahead but we have the victory through Yeshua!  All the best for 2013 everyone, and good Shabbos.

Yad Lachim boast turning up suddenly at door of Messianic blogger and change his beliefs

This article Yad Lachim wrote shows they were successful suddenly showing up at a Messianic blogger’s home in Beer Sheva known as Warrior Knight, and getting him to abandon his faith in Yeshua.   You would of though that they would list the URL of this site though if this was such a big trophy win for them?

If you run a blog or web site, bear in mind someone might find out your name, address and phone number by using a free “who is” service to trace the registered owner of that web site domain address.   This is probably how Yad Lachim just got to trace and then turn up one evening at this person’s home.   Knocking on the doors of strangers sounds like another type of missionary work to us!!!

If you are concerned, either contact whoever owns your domain name do get your address records made private which costs a small amount of extra money a year for this service, or if you are not sure how to do this, email us, and we will get a trusted IT specialist we know to help you on how to keep your details safe.

In terms of converting this man to Orthodox Judaism and abandoning his belief in Yeshua, we think that;

1/ It’s a joke, that the man went along with, for a short while, just to make Yad Lachim look silly, or,

2/ He shut the blog down and became a black hat Jew, leaving no trace of previous or current religious preferences.

3/ It’s a complete and total lie, most likely.

After much Google searching, there is no sign of this blog at all.

Have a good Shabbos everyone – Peter

Messianic believers in Jaffa provide challenge to Xmessianic.co.il site

Xmessianic.co.il is an anti-messianic web site (in Hebrew only, so use Chrome browser for simple translation) which is a favourite amongst Yad Lachim staffers who often promote their work in their social media outlets to try and pursuade Jewish people that Yeshua wasn’t the messiah.

Here is a quick snapshot of the xmessianic site.

Just like promotional material that Yad Lachim and the Jewish-Israel project (who aim to get donations from Christians via third party) there is a lot of emphasis on the baptism pictures, historicaly a favourite thing antimissionary operatives sneak in to secretly take photos amongst Messianic Jews that are having a baptism service for new believers.

Here is the xmessianic-fake site from a congregation in Jaffa:-

It aims to counter some of the arguments of the xmessianic site.   Note, to site admins, the layout of the site seems wrong as the edges are cut off.   This happens when we look at the site in Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer 9.   We hope this can grown to better represent how to see how Yeshua fulfilled the scriptures.

We know there are people who have left the faith sadly, as 1 Timothy 4 : 1 explains this would happen.   We know some of the more well known very motivated antimissionary operatives are ex-Christians.

However Xmessianic seems similar to a lot of other anti-Messianic literature which distorts the prophetic words of the bible to hide the fulfillment of these words by Yeshua.   This is because a lot of the antimissionary folks are really trying to win Jews for the Chabad messiah Rebbe Schneerson who completed exactly zero prophetic parts of the Torah and didn’t live in Israel.
